Barbara was born in Germany, raised in So. California and now does plein air painting in Portland. She’s also an art docent at PAM & Pittock Mansion. Her Fine Arts degree is from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She worked for “Art at Your Fingertips”, a hands on school art program for ten years and volunteered as an Art Docent for seventeen years at Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

She created her own hand painted ceramic business and her original one of a kind pieces were in exclusive shops, shows & collections for over twenty years. Traveling throughout Europe has influenced much of her work and she continues to be inspired by the beauty and nature of the Northwest.
