| Julianna Paradisi
A native of Catalina Island, Julianna Paradisi’s first artistic endeavor was at age two when she held blue and red crayons in her left hand and drew a double line around the newly painted walls of her baby brother’s nursery. Watching her mother cover up the mural with a fresh coat of paint, she realized that sometimes art is misunderstood. Undaunted, she continued to draw. Years later, loading up her red Honda Civic, she relocated with her daughter to the Pacific Northwest. She now lives in Portland, Oregon.
Primarily a painter and printmaker, Julianna has also exhibited sculpture and collage in Oregon and Washington galleries. She is an award-winning artist who has had solo exhibitions at City Hall Commissioner Sam Adam’s office, PNCA, the Pearl District, and Northeast Portland. Her studio is located in the historic Goldsmith Blocks. Learn more about her art at .juliannaparadisi.com.
