| Laura Tarrish
Trained as a graphic designer, Laura has worked as an editorial illustrator for the last 22 years. Her clients have included The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, United Airlines, Apple Computer, Travel & Leisure and the U.S. Department of Energy. In 2005 Laura launched Bridgetown Papers to design retail and custom paper products.
Though she’s spent the majority of her adult life in San Francisco, Boston and Portland, it was Laura’s two years in London with her husband and two daughters that left her a hopeless Anglophile. To this day, she maintains her affinity for all things British, much to the chagrin of her eye-rolling family. She’s also an avid collector of maps, old travel guides, diagram-filled how-to manuals, tickets stubs and more. Other people’s trash, as they say, is most definitely Laura’s treasure as her ephemera finds its way into virtually every piece of artwork she creates.
