Lucia Johnson

I graduated from University of South Carolina and lived in that state all my life until the age of 28 when my husband and I decided that enough was enough. We wanted to live in a larger city but not with the hassles and costs of New York and the like. So we researched some cities, landed in Portland and moved here 2001. We have loved living here ever since. I have been a painter primarily for the past ten years and worked as a full time artist showing work in every coffee house, wine bar and gallery that would have me. I have recently have become a full time mom and painting furniture is much more conducive to my lack of concentration these days so I am focusing on that for now at www.pdxnoveltiques.com. But I am re-inventing the wheel as far as my paintings go so look for some new artwork at www.luciajohnson.com soon.
