Jennifer KenworthJennifer Kenworth studied art at California College of the Arts in Oakland, California, where she earned her degree in Ceramic Sculpture. Soon after college, Jennifer landed in Portland, Oregon where she continued to create her life-size figurative sculptures. While at an art residency in Nevada, Jennifer was introduced to black velvet painting. Upon returning to Portland, she began painting Pop culture kitsch on velvet as well as creating sculptures. With both bodies of work, Jennifer has been involved with the art community of Portland having shows at galleries, cafes and various art events. The Chair Affair is always a fun event to participate in because it is a time when Jennifer can use both her painting skills and her sculpture skills.
