Wendy B. Steinberg
I have seen myself as an artist since childhood. I grew up in the wide-open spaces of Arizona; my love of exhibiting my artwork emerged in the dry dusty fields using the bare ground as my canvas. My subjects were horses - very large ones that could be seen by passing crop dusters! Later I worked as a graphic artist designing for the commercial world. Today I'm retired from that sphere but I continue to explore the many creative options available through my art including wood, clay, metals, found objects, glass and textiles. Currently oil painting is the the key to expressing my thoughts, dreams, feelings and loves. I enjoy introducing people of all ages to the world of art - and I encourage my students to discover their own artist voice. |
