CHAIR AFFAIR ARTISTS
Every spring, Community Warehouse hosts its annual Chair Affair event to raise critical mission funds.
At the heart of the event are brilliant, one-of-a-kind Children’s Chairs created by local artists.
We are now accepting new Children’s Chair artists for Chair Affair 2025!
How does the Children’s Chair Project work?
Community Warehouse collects used donated children’s chairs and distributes them to local artists. The artists then transform the chairs into unique, joyful pieces of functional art for children.
The chairs go on to be displayed at our Chair Affair fundraising event and sponsored by supporters, raising critical funds for Community Warehouse’s mission.
After Chair Affair, the Children’s Chairs return to our furniture banks where they are picked out by children who visit Community Warehouse with their family to receive services.Â
