Giving on the go has never been easier. On November 10, Uber will help donors get to and from Community Warehouse donation drop-off locations.

Over the past 3 years, Uber riders and drivers have donated thousands of pounds of household items to communities that need it most as part of Uber’s donation drives. This year, their donation drive is back and they’re making it easier than ever to give on the go—dropping off your donation is just another stop along your weekend route. Meeting friends for lunch? Running errands? Stop by a participating nonprofit partner before heading to your destination.

How it works: On Saturday, Nov 10, you’ll be able to get up to $20 off 2 rides to/from Community Warehouse or Dress for Success with the promo code GIVEONTHEGOPDX. You can bag up your donations, request the ride, and head to your selected dropoff destination. After dropping off your donations, request a ride and get up to $20 off your trip to the next destination.

• Bag your donations—each bag should be less than 30 pounds**
• Open the Uber app and tap the Payment section.
• Select “Add Promo/Gift Code” and enter the promo code GIVEONTHEGOPDX
• See drop off times for each participating nonprofit before entering the location and click “Request”.
• Head to your selected drop-off destination with your bagged donations**
• After dropping off your donations, request a ride and get up to $20 off your trip to the next destination*

*The promo code is good from 7am – 5pm local time on November 10, 2018 for up to $20 off a maximum of 2 trips that start in the Uber Portland service areas and go to or from one of the local participating nonprofit centers. Promo code GIVEONTHEGOPDX must be entered in the Payment section of the app prior to requesting your trip to a participating nonprofit center. Discount does not apply to tips, surcharges or tolls. Cannot be combined with other offers/promos. Promo code can only be applied once per account. Please check dropoff times for the participating nonprofits prior to arrival; dropoff times and hours of operation vary. Any unused per ride value of the discount will not carry over to subsequent rides. Limited availability. Offer and terms subject to change.

**Most UberX ride options fit approximately 2 – 3 bags of donations. Each bag should weigh no more than 30 lbs. If you’re planning on providing more bags, consider a larger ride option like UberXL.
